Etimologia

Il nome del genere è composto per la prima parte dal mwdggreco mwdwmweaοὐρὰ, cioè mweqourà, che significa mwegcoda, probabilmente per la lunghezza delle mwewfiliere, e per la seconda parte dal genere mwfaBallus con cui condivide varie peculiarità.

Caratteristiche

Entrambi i sessi di questo genere sono lunghi circa 3 millimetri. Il mwfwcefalotorace è molto ampio, di forma quasi quadrata. L'mwgaopistosoma, invece, ha forma ovale. Il primo paio delle mwgqzampe è grosso e tozzo, con i mwggfemori molto sviluppati. Le filiere sono molto lunghe e sottilicite-ref-murphy289-1-0[1].

Distribuzione

Delle tre specie oggi note di questo genere, due sono diffuse nello mwiqSri Lanka, una nel mwigVietnamcite-ref-salticidae-2-0[2].
